American pianist Janet Colburn has performed extensively as recitalist and soloist in the US and abroad. She has a large eclectic musical repertoire, with special affinity for Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Liszt, Chopin, Schumann and Prokofiev . Performing and collaborating with Sir Neville Marriner and the Academy of Saint Martin in the Fields, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, composer Lalo Schifrin and others, she demonstrates passion and finesse in a great variety of musical styles and genres. She also performs with and coaches vocalists and instrumentalists. She is available on a limited basis as tutor/coach for lessons and recital preparation, videos, auditions, competitions, recordings, films and Master Classes. Dr. Colburn’s studio features Steinway and Bosendorfer Imperial grands - opportunities for creating a brilliant rich tonal palette and virtuoso technique.
